چکیده
Light field (LF) imaging, which captures both spatial and angular information of a scene, is undoubtedly beneficial to numerous applications. Although various techniques have been proposed for LF acquisition, achieving angularly spatially high-resolution remains technology challenge. In this paper, learning-based approach applied 3D epipolar image (EPI) reconstruct LF. Through 2-stage super-resolution framework, the effectively addresses (SR) problems, i.e., SR, angular-spatial SR. While first stage provides flexible options up-sample EPI volume desired resolution, second stage, consists novel volume-based refinement network (EVRN), substantially enhances quality volume. An extensive evaluation on 90 challenging synthetic real-world light scenes from 7 published datasets shows that outperforms state-of-the-art methods large extend problem, an average peak signal noise ratio improvement more than 2.0 dB, 1.4 3.14 dB in SR ×2, ×4, respectively. The reconstructed 4D demonstrates balanced performance distribution across all perspective images presents superior visual compared previous works.

Spatial and Angular Variational Super-Resolution of 4D Light Fields
We present a variational framework to generate super-resolved novel views from 4D light field data sampled at low resolution, for example by a plenoptic camera. In contrast to previous work, we formulate the problem of view synthesis as a continuous inverse problem, which allows us to correctly take into account foreshortening effects caused by scene geometry transformations. High-accuracy dept...
متن کاملLight Field Super-Resolution Via Graph-Based Regularization
Light field cameras can capture the 3D information in a scene with a single shot. This special feature makes light field cameras very appealing for a variety of applications: from the popular post-capture refocus, to depth estimation and imagebased rendering. However, light field cameras suffer by design from strong limitations in their spatial resolution, which should therefore be augmented by...
متن کاملSuper-resolution Based Image Inpainting
-This paper introduces a new examplar-based inpainting framework. A coarse version of the input image is first inpainted by a non-parametric patch sampling. Compared to existing approaches, some improvements have been done (e.g. filling order computation, combination of K nearest neighbours). The inpainted of a coarse version of the input image allows to reduce the computational complexity, to ...
متن کاملAn Iterative Approach to Image Super-Resolution
Undersampling and aliasing occurs frequently in many imaging systems leading to degradation of image quality. Super-resolution attempts to reconstruct a high-resolution image by fusing the incomplete scene information contained in the sequence of under-sampled images. This paper investigates iterative approaches to super-resolution. We propose algorithm that utilises a relatively small number o...
متن کاملSingle image super resolution in spatial and wavelet domain
Recently single image super resolution is very important research area to generate high-resolution image from given low-resolution image. Algorithms of single image resolution are mainly based on wavelet domain and spatial domain. Filter’s support to model the regularity of natural images is exploited in wavelet domain while edges of images get sharp during up sampling in spatial domain. Here s...
